EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES @ Your Local ‘Hub on the Hill’

We are planning a number of activities and events in the library building and the community from August through to December 2016. They will be delivered in collaboration with local people, community groups and businesses.  To find out more; to get involved in the Community Learning Hub activities; share your ideas for an event or project; run a session with us or to hire a room please speak to one of the Hub Team Members, Maja, James or Alison – we are always around in the Library, or email [email protected]

Traditional and modern nursery rhymes and song sessions for 0 – 2 year olds and costs £1.20 minimum donation per child.

Lambeth Library Services programme will change after 10th September 2016

Summer FUN
  The Big Friendly Read

National Reading Challenge:  pop along with your 5 – 11 year olds children to sign up to this fun activity during the summer holidays. Register from Monday 11th July.  The challenge is for children to read 6 books by 10th September.

Indoor Backyard

 

We have brought the sun and the garden indoors – Join us for some indoor summer fun!

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 30th July to 31st August Pop inside and visit our Indoor Backyard when the library opens Donations to the ‘find Robbie fund’ Community Hub Team Library Building
Arts and Craft

Bring your 3 – 6 year olds (younger siblings welcome) for some creative fun with the Hub team.

Create something lovely and/or make a wand, pirate hat or treasure chest then join the story telling group to use it as a prop in your very own adventure!

 

Sessions take place on Wednesdays in the Library.

An exciting heritage project involving the local community in a programme of creative activities and events inspired by the 50th anniversary of the creation of the London Boroughs.

take part in developing ideas for a garden and footpath design for the Upper Norwood/Crystal Palace Triangle entrance to Crystal Palace Park with local Landscape Architect Lou Yates.
